Art Exhibition: Grade 7 & Grade 8

This spring, Washington Heights Academy collaborated with Studio in a School to provide visual arts enrichment for students in Grades 7 & 8. Through this residency, students had opportunities to:

 explore visual art materials and techniques
 develop confidence and skill with art materials
 make artistic choices that communicate their ideas, experiences; and
 discover the joy of the creative process

We are pleased to invite families to visit the Grade 7/8 Student Art Exhibit currently on display on the ground floor of our school building. Every student who participated in the program will have a work of art on display.

The Exhibit will also be available for viewing before our Grade 8 Commencement (June 14) and Grade 7 Recognition Ceremony (June 22). Please contact Parent Coordinator Alexandra Ulloa if you’d like to stop by at another time!
